Doug Simpson

Guide

Doug is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring wild places. He began climbing in 2016, working at his local college campus climbing gym as a climbing instructor.

Upon moving to Colorado in 2019, Doug quickly expanded his skills to all disciplines of vertical adventure. Favoring run-out slab over crack climbing, Doug thrives scrambling in the Boulder Flatirons, or pulling hard on crimps at Shelf Road. He takes pride in facilitating outdoor experiences people wouldn't otherwise have without proper education and guidance.

When Doug's not out climbing, you can find him working on precision ag technology, fly fishing in alpine lakes, or camping with his fiance and cattledog in the Rocky Mountain West.
